ATX Pre Launch Show & Afterparty is here

RapHQ and C&C Entertainment Firm have released the line up for their action-packed SXSW event. Headliners are Quin NFN, Uncle Murda, Lil Scrappy, Marty Baller,  Slim 400, and more. All of these talents have made a solid name for themselves and are still growing within their respectful music lanes. The RapHQ Team is gearing up for another monumental SXSW. With that being said they are offering performance slots for artist. Since the collective does many things in many different states they notices that artist inquiring will have to fly to Austin, TX for the show. Don’t worry there are also flight package deal that can come along with performance deals. If you are looking for a line up for this event information will be released next week on headliners. Montreal’s NEKO is still making hits, the latest is “Stains” prod. by shyguy

Screen Shot 2017-12-06 at 12.56.36 PMA few months ago we wrote about Montreal’s buzzing underground scene. One of those artists was up and coming rapper Neko. He’s back with a new project, this time with two songs for a compilation project from Club Nuage, a soundwave collective from Quebec.

My favorite of the two tracks is “Stains” produced by shyguy. The beat is wavy and melodic and Neko shows a new style I haven’t heard before. Some introspective lyrics, melodic bars, but still the grittiness I love from Neko. Check it out below, rumor is he’ll be making an appearance at SXSW this year. I hope that’s true.
