Arthur Black just randomly drops gem whenever he wants, and they’re consistently quality. The Dallas natives latest, Shiver, is a spacey, dark, and aggressive track with production reminiscent of somedallthing like Death Grips or JPEGMAFIA, but still keeps that real rap core. As always Arthur comes with that smooth flow and really glides on his own production like butter. Listen below.
LA rapper Fritsgod just dropped the very cinematic visuals for his track “Red Limousine”. The dark, almost evil sounding track is complemented with a video just as captivating, playing with smoking, color, and dark imagery as Frits raps about “dancing with the devil in a limousine.” The Eem produced track itself is very astral and ambient, with airy synthesizers complementing Frits’ autotuned voice and smooth vocal style. This is super dope, definitely give it a look below.
Texas City rapper Yung Fuji dropped off a visual for his track Lxner. The hazy xGod.Lifex x Pa$tor Herb$ production nicely complements Fujis flow and style, which he uses to prove why he’s easily up next. Once of the best voices in underground, his consistency and confidence in each of his tracks is steadily pushing him towards success. Check out the video below.
Vegas rapper ZOTiYAC is hella consistent. He completely owns his dark and aggressive style, his razor sharp flow making every bar hit with purpose. I was first introduced to him with his track Gas Only, and everything he’s put out since has been raw, gritty and hard. His latest No Witnesses is no expection, pushing forward his grimy aesthetic and showing off really solid lyricism. Bars like “we currently going through sentences so i got watch what i say in these sentences” prove he’s no slouch when it comes to his craft. It’s only a matter of time before we see a lot more from Zo in the mainstream. Check No Witnesses below.
