Austin’s most intriguing artist, Max Wells, drops off a new single today titled “Selfish” produced by Still. Selfishness inherently comes with a little confidence, and Max is definitley flexing on some people with this one. Lyrics and flow are always the standout part of a Max track, and “Selfish” is no different.

Max has certainly built his own lane over the past few years, and has tons of work on the resume to back it up. It has gone a long way to growing a strong/engaged fan base all over the country, something a lot of other artists based in Austin haven’t accomplished yet. Something that takes a lot of hard work and good music to reach that level. Max Wells is definitely one to keep an eye on.

Hitmaker Ted Park re-releases “Hello, Who Is This?” and goes global

Capital Records signed Ted Park for a few reasons. One of those being his knack and understanding of how to make a viral hit record. There was no song more important to his young career then “Hello, Who Is This?”. When it originally dropped it soared up the charts, hitting #5 Billboard and Spotify US Viral, and was in the Top 100 in 4 different countries on iTunes independently. It led to his record deal with Capital Records, and with the re-release being pushed by the massive Universal Music Group, Ted Park is about to really level up.

The DJ Pain 1 produced track is everything that Ted does well. Melodic, catchy, and full of energy. I got to be on stage with Ted when he performed this song during his special guest set at Coast2Coast Mixtapes SXSW event this year, and I rarely see an artist bring the type of energy Ted has on stage. It was a blast. I can’t wait to see what Ted has in store next. Because I’m certain it will be big.

Whip game cold, Kareem Kalokoh’s new album “CONGO” is full of hits

Kareem Kalokoh recently dropped his first project since 2015. “Congo”  is chalked full of dark sounds and heavy hitting street anthems. Based out of Athens (Greece), 23 year old Kalokoh provides a cohesive aesthetic to match the sounds on the album. The 11 track project pegs two features; Athens’ Majin Cost, and one of my favorite artists Goon Des Garcons*, who continues to be popping up in all the right places.

My favorite track is the addicting single “Whip Game”, which is European rap to a tee and a song I haven’t been able to turn off all week. The video, directed by Valentin Rivera & Theodore Sleeks, dropped in March and has racked up a crazy 187k views. Peep the video and listen to the full album below.

P2THEGOLDMASK – One Deep

I’ve really had this song in rotation because I’m really feeling it. San Antonio’s own P2THEGOLDMASK blessed the streets the other day with this brand new slapper titled “One Deep” and its way too groovy produced by CatSippyCup and hosted by BIGBABYDRAM the song itself is an all around 10, listen at your own risk it will get stuck in your head.

Hundo – FATS (Prod. ByJohnmell0)

Atlanta rapper has been making a lot of noise recently by consistently delivering music and you will never be disappointed when he drops. Just recently he decided to drop a North Korea diss due to the fact that they’re really trying to “bomb” us, the track is titled “FATS” and it’s pretty hard produced by Johnmell0. Stream the track down below and tell us what you think.

Louisiana artist @2iaire & @Phomethazine tag team for “IcedUpCup”

Louisiana artist Zye is on to bigger and better things for 318 on his newest single “IcedUpCup”. The artist creates a hook that fits perfectly with the Beldon Did That sound. With the talents of both Zye and Phomethazine on full flex through the track, this song is an easy attention grabber. Take a listen to the audio provided below and make sure to leave a comment.
